Nano Needling
What is Nano Needling?
Nano needling is a gentler version of Microneedling, using a Dr Pen A6S device with a cartridge containing microscopic silicone tips (not actual needles).
How it works:
The silicone tips gently touch the skin, creating tiny channels in the epidermis (the outermost layer of skin).
Benefits:
Improved skin tone and texture: By exfoliating the skin and stimulating cell turnover, nano needling can lead to a brighter, more even complexion.
Reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles: The treatment can stimulate collagen production, which helps to plump and smooth the skin.
Enhanced product absorption: The tiny channels created by nano needling allow for deeper and more effective penetration of skincare products.
Reduced pigmentation: Nano needling can help to address hyperpigmentation and other skin discoloration issues.
Difference from microneedling:
While both treatments use a pen-like device, microneedling involves needles that penetrate deeper into the dermis (the layer beneath the epidermis), while nano needling only affects the top layer.
Safety:
Nano needling is considered a safe and gentle treatment, with minimal to no downtime.
Suitable for:
Nano needling is suitable for a wide range of skin types and can be used to address various concerns, including fine lines, texture, tone, and pigmentation.
